Ash Shrivastav

Managing Partner

Ash Shrivastav is the Managing Partner of Uma Ventures. He is also a Venture Partner at Buckhill Capital LP, where he spent over six years as a Principal, sourcing, evaluating, and leading investments in various companies and funds, including Anthropic, Worldly (formerly Higg), Mill, Para, Goodr, and Decent. Ash has also sourced and led investments in Last Country Inc. (Tucker Carlson Network), Primer Microschools, Hydra Host, Pigeon, Enduring Ventures, Haymaker Ventures, Revere VC, among other leading companies.

He began his career in the investment banking team at JPMorgan and later worked on sell-side transactions at boutique firms before founding a leading social matrimony platform. Ash earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Houston, completed his graduate studies at Harvard University, and briefly attended the University of Cambridge for an MBA.

He has driven over 300,000 miles across 46 U.S. states and has lived in Houston, Boston, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, Cambridge (UK), and Nepal. Ash has a keen interest in ancient history, deep tech, and faith and religious philosophy.
